What if Mary would have said no to the Archangel Gabriel? What if she said I don’t want to be the mother of the Savior? She had learned to love and trust God, plus she was born without original sin, so of course she said yes! We need to learn from her how to accept what God gives us, whether it is our temperament, family, environment and cross. She always points the way to Him. As the Mediatrix of all Graces, we are going to ask Mary this year to point us in the right direction in order to really know Jesus. If you know MARY, then you will know JESUS!
“Christ has no body now but mine. He prays in me, works in me, looks through my eyes, speaks through my words, works through my hands, walks with my feet and loves with my heart.”- St. Theresa of Avila
The Rosary mystically transports us to Mary's side as she is busy watching over the human growth of Christ in the home of Nazareth. This enables her to train us and to mold us with the same care, until Christ is ''fully formed'' in us... Why should we not once more have recourse to the Rosary, with the same faith as those who have gone before us? - Pope John Paul II
Do you really know the living Jesus - not from books but from being with Him in your heart? Have you heard the loving words He speaks to you? The devil may try to use the hurts of life, and sometimes our own mistakes - to make you feel it is impossible that Jesus really loves you, is really cleaving to you. This is a danger for all of us. And so sad, because it is completely the opposite of what Jesus is really wanting, waiting to tell you. Not only that He loves you, but even more - He longs for you. - Blessed Teresa of Calcutta
Love is shown more in deeds than in words. - St. Ignatius of Loyola
